Nonprofit Capacity Building & Leadership Development​
In working with nonprofit visionaries, I listen well to build a connection and discover synergies already at work. I then work to set a collaborative tone for shared and measurable success. Whether partnering with the organization's leaders on governance, board development, strategic planning, fundraising objectives, expanding a planned giving program, or working with donor families, my base of experience brings a value-added dimension to the table.
Service Learning & Civic Engagement in Higher Education
My expertise and knowledge of service learning in higher education emerges from my primary research with university students and an exhaustive review of the literature of service learning and community-engaged scholarship. Higher education leaders who want to intentionally connect students, faculty, and campuses with their communities for transformative learning are the visionaries with whom I work.
Empathy & Care in Healthcare Delivery
Inspired by Ethic of Care and nursing theories such as Caritative Care, my orientation to empathy and care education for healthcare professionals stems from my professional experience in a healthcare organization, observations in clinical settings, and from numerous conversations with nurses. In this setting, I partner with visionaries who work to bring excellence in patient care across the clinical environment.
